The Toyota Tacoma is a body-on-frame, mid-size pickup truck manufactured by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota since 1995.
Built and sold over four generations, the Tacoma chassis was used under the 4Runner until 2007, when it was reimagined as a SUV.
It is currently built in three plants in North America: Tijuana in Mexico, and San Antonio, Texas, and Baja California, Mexico; in Georgetown, Kentucky; and in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
From 1995 to 2016 Toyota sold over 20 million Tacomas worldwide.
The Tacoma can be configured to fit your specific needs: 6-speed manual transmission, 4-speed automatic, part-time 4x4 with differential lock, or full-time 4x4 with 2WD automatic locking.
It is distinct for its boxy, long-hood-short-deck body style and available solid or double cab, regular or extended wheelbase in both 2WD or 4WD.
2WD Tacoma models are rated to carry as much as 1,500 pounds, with this much space for the addition of equipment, the pickup truck offers best in class payload.
It has a strong build with high-performance motors to support your every adventure, and it’s designed to handle well on any terrain.
